Burton Academy begins new chapter as 'Lodestar Academy'

From the beginning of the 2023/2024 academic year our school, formerly know as Burton Academy, will now be known as Lodestar Academy. 

Lodestar is a name used to describing a guiding star, most commonly used by sailors to help steer the course of a ship. We believe this name perfectly encompasses our values as a learning community and supports our mission of providing a high-quality education in a safe environment.
