To help keep all pupils safe, please ensure the school has up-to-date information about any allergies your child may have. Accurate allergy information enables us to put appropriate support plans in place, train staff effectively, and respond quickly in an emergency. We all have a part to play in creating a safe environment, including following our nut-aware policy and being mindful of the food brought into school. If your child has an allergy, please contact the school or update their details via Arbor. Be Allergy Aware and Save A Life - see more here.
At Lodestar Academy, we believe that healthy, nutritious meals are an essential part of supporting our students' wellbeing, learning and development. Our very talented Chef Sarah and her assistant Kayleigh, prepare and cook all of our meals with high quality, fresh, locally sourced ingredients, which are cooked onsite daily. We provide an excellent selection of dishes, offering hot and cold meals, salads and snacks. Our menus are changed three times a year for Spring, Summer and Autumn terms. Our food is designed to meet national school food standards, offering balanced meals that are both tasty and delicious. We are committed to catering for a wide range of dietary requirements and food allergies, with clear allergen information available for all menu items. By working closely with our students and families we ensure that every child can enjoy safe, healthy, and enjoyable school meals each day.
Students have a voice in menu choices through suggestions via the student council.

Please note, we are a nut-free environment. No nut containing products are used in our food and we ask that no nuts/nut containing products are brought into school at all.
